Mirkwood, Hebden Bridge | Fine Art Giclee
A classic moody landscape featuring of one of my favourite local woodland scenes, this time shot in winter, when there was still a beguiling hint of colour in the grass. The faint mist and dark silhouettes of trees give this image its Tolkienesque look, and the overall impression is certainly a bit sinister. A visitor to one of my exhibitions suggested the title, and I was very happy to go along with it.
